. Le Tuxedo .

Inspired by Helmut Lange’s iconic photograph, Le Smoking, the tuxedo jacket for women rose to fame in 2008.  A bold statement piece most commonly associated with male power players like Agent 007 (Bond, James Bond), the tuxedo jacket of “08 combined the ease of men’s fashion with sensual skinny cuts and sleek satin.  The women’s tuxedo is once again on the rise and all about putting a relaxed feminine twist on a male dominated staple…with a hint of glam!
Here are a few tips to help you create a look that makes 2008 look so 2000 and late:
·         Get a case of boogie fever! Take a hint form the 70s and go for jackets with wide peaked lapels. Who knew, 30 years later and the BeeGees are style icons!
